Welcome to Alok . It is an annual publication initiative of the Department of Assamese of B. Borooah College, Guwahati. Alok  is a Double-Blind Peer Reviewed Journal on Language, Literature and Culture. It is published by the Department of Assamese of B. Borooah College, Guwahati, a premier higher education institution, established in 1943. Accredited by NAAC with A++ Grade, the College presently has acquired the status of an Autonomous college. Alok provides spaces to original research articles by researchers in the related fields, and tries to promote productive and critical thinking through the medium of Assamese. The journal follows a rigorous method of peer- review, and never compromises with qualities. Authors can submit their articles as email attachments in anonymous MS Words Files.

The Readers may collect the copies of the latest issue of the journal directly from the Department. It may be sent via post at request.
